Miguel Cotto: "I Don't Need Mayweather"

I like it when people think Cotto is overlooking Gomez.

There was one time Cotto probaly did that, and it was with Torres. Im pretty sure he learned alot from that fight.

Also Gomez likes to use his right hand as a counter, which he will land, but will not hurt Cotto IMO. Mosley threw the same exact punch and took them pretty well at some points.

Gomez will try and work the body, and MARK my words that Gomez will get caught with an inside left hook that will stagger Gomez and possibly end the fight.

Just a hunch.

Cotto is not looking past Gomez. You can see by the way he talks and the way he looks that he aint overlooking anyone. The man just wants Saturday to pass so he can move on with his life.

I just hope Cotto has a good fight set up after this one. No Mayorga please. The **** people will speak on this forum.

Cotto doesn't need Floyd. If the fight never happens it will appear (correctly in my opinion) that Floyd never wanted to take care of business.
A Floyd fight may elevate Cotto's fan appeal earlier but if he stays undefeated and keeps KOing then he'll make a Goddamned fortune on his own merits.
