Roy Jones wasn't really so shot as the Jones nuthuggers say when Tarver KOed him. Jones hasn't looked shot at all in his past two fights.

I give him plenty of credit for the luckiest punch ever. He was lucky as hell to land such a punch on Roy and only won the 3rd fight because Rjj barely tried. He landed every time he threw a combination , but was scared to let em go because of the two fight back to back KO's. Tarver is a good fighter, dont get me wrong. I also like his attitude and self confidence. But, and there is always a but. He was lethargic in his biggest fight besides Roy Jones when he fought Hopkins. He barely even showed up. I dont know if he was drained from losing weight or what, but he did mention that the weight affected him. And that came after chastizing Roy for saying that. All in all, he is mostly living off of the Roy Jones KO. He has made alot out of it and will never carry his own legacy. I can safely say that if the Roy Jones that beat Clinton Woods years ago fought Tarver in 2004-05, he would have destroyed Tarver without a doubt.

Let me start by saying that there is no such thing as a "perfect punch" either. Otherwise, Jones would not have gotten up. Secondly, if you understood fighting overall you would know that there definitely is such of a thing as a "lucky punch". Take MMA as an example. If a guy gets dominated for 4-1/2 rounds and lands a shot that KO's the guy cold. What would you call that? Sre, you would call it a "lucky punch". You will probably come back with some whitty comment to this, but if one person says a lucky punch exists out of the millions of bixing fans. Then guess what: It exists. But, I do understand your point.

When Tarver beat Roy I was impressed and became a fan but got off the bandwagon when Tarver's mouth and ego started running rampant. I don't mind mouthy guys that have that twinkle in the eye when they're talking trash (i.e. Mallinagi) but Antonio Tarver went delusional on us. I give him props though for facing Clinton Woods though who is definitely no pushover.

**** this!!! the man has won 26 out of his 30 fights. based on the writer if this article, and some of you who post on here, u'd think tarver was 26-12 or something. he's beaten everyone he has lost to (except hopkins), and you call that punch against rjj lucky? well, he was on the verge of stopping him again in their third fight. tarver is a good fighter, he will easily beat clinton woods!!! clinton woods-LMAO!!!!!!
