I remember sittin' down getting ready 2 watch Gatti vs. Dorin thinking it was gonna be a good scrap (because of what Lenoard was able to do with Spad) then he got nailed with that bodyshot and never got up. Anyway to me he didn't look that bad. Thoughts?

its funny you mentioned this cuz floyd blasted him and a couple years later alfonso gomez balsted the same gatti? and everybody makes gomez out to be a bum.

Well that's a different story. Gatti had been spanked by Floyd and then Sonned by Baldy. Gomez isn't a bum in my opinion he usually looks good until he starts to gass and take more punches.

I wouldn't say he only had a "little bit of skill." He was very good if not elite. He was also by the time he fought May fighting above his best weights, and Baldomir especially was too big for him

true but styles make fights..if Gatti didn't block punches with his face he might have made it past baldy. He might have been past his best weight but so was May.
