Martin Kristjansen was KO'ed by rising LW star Amir Khan on saturday. Here is a pic from sunday.

Martin says he reddens easily and that it looks worse than it is. 'Khan hits hard especially with his left. It was not punches to the head that got me down the first 2 times but his body-hooks. My last KD was more a bowl-over rather than a KD.'

Martin further stated that: 'Khan was faster than I expected and stronger. He'll probably be a big star.'

I was actually impress by martin, and his face doesnt look that bad.

Yeah he can box just lacks power. Khan could pretty much not worry about his defence because he wasn't hurting him.

Definately good for his development to take some crisp shots in a pro fight that don't hurt too much

Whilst i watched the fight i was thinking khan needs to throw more body shots.Because the ones that landed when he threw them seemed effective.

alot of fighters hed fought recently like kristanjesen and gary st clair are not really powerful theire good boxers who can do 12 rounds but they're not power punchers.

wonder how khan feels about fighting thaxton - someone with alot of power and by beating him he would have cleaned up the domestic scene.
