    Best Brand For What Equipment

I dont think there is such thing as a best brand and believe me im not one of those guys who buys all the most expensive gear just to look good, but there is a motto that i have always stuck to because it has never proved me wrong, IF YOU BUY CHEAP YOU BUY TWICE!!! Sometimes you find that if you buy the cheap stuff it ****s up and needs replacing 10 times as quick so you may aswell had bought those $200 winnning gloves to start with than 30 pairs of crap gloves.

JUST WANT TO KNOW YOUR OPINION OF WHICH BRAND YOU THINK EXCELS IN WHICH AREA, AND EVERYONES PERSONAL PREFERENCES WHEN IT COMES TO:

    1.Gloves
    2.Mitts
    3.Footwear
    4.Headguard
    5.Apparel

THOUGHT I'D PUT THIS UP TO SEE IF ALL THE BIG BRANDS WERE JUST A HYPE OR WHETHER THEY ACTUALLY DO MAKE AN EXTRA $100 WORTH OF DIFFERENCE.

AND ALSO AS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW AS WELL WHICH BRANDS TO STAY AWAY FROM IN TERMS OF QUALITY, OR FROM PAST EXPERIENCE.

just to let you know what i have and what i think is the best:

1.gloves= i have Grant Gloves But i think Winning are by far the best. I have Grant because i cant afford winning and grant are the next best thing for me. even if you dont have brittle hands the more cushioned glove should always be used in training to protect your hands and your sparring partners as you dont really intend to hurt them (even though i do on occasions, i cant help it hehe)

    2. Footwear. Jordan Footwear i use not neccisarily because there the best because i do not think that. i only use them because i find them to be the heaviest shoes and helps my with the speed of my footwork.

I cant really comment on the other products or Brands such as Title (expensive as hell and havent really heard big things about them), everlast, cleto reyes, BBE etc etc as i havent tried much of them out yet.

Well I think when it comes to apparel (training clothes, shorts, sleeveless shirts, etc.) Everlast has to take it. Being the biggest brand (or the "conventional" brand) they have a wide variety of clothing that a LOT of people use.

I don't have anything by Winning, but I know that the majority of all pros use their gloves in training. Expensive as hell, but apparently they're the best protective gloves, and I also see most pros using Winning Headgear in sparring. Off the top of my head, during training I've seen these fighters using Winning:

        Juan Manuel Marquez
        Floyd Mayweather
        Manny Pacquiao
        Oscar De La Hoya
        Zab Judah
        Antonio Margarito
        Shane Mosley
        David Haye

They all have used either gloves, headgear or protective gear from Winning in either their fights or their training. I haven't used their products but from what everyone says they're the best protective brand out there.
