Obiviously, Team Palle is **** and won't do him any good.

Thoughts, and who should sign him?

Probably yes. However let's see which fight Palle lands for Kessler.

At the moment though he looks like a mismanaged fighter.

Everybody would love to have him. He has the potential to be a golden goose if he stays injury-free.

If he were willing to relocate he'd be a hot commodity. Doesn't Palle control all the boxing in Denmark?

No. They used to. He and his daughter Bettina is almost out of business. They cant get a TV-contract so the fighters doesn't get much work in Denmark. Some fighters have quit boxing (f.x. Reda Zam Zam) and others have retired from lack of work.

Other promoters have started. Team Vester and Robert Larsen. Nobody has a tv-contract so the future of pro-boxing in Denmark is grim. It'll probably be all but over by the time Kessler retires. Unless of course some mega-talent unexpectedly should appear.

Interesting. Palle must be pretty old by now. Thanks for the info.

73 I guess. Had 50 years promotional anniversary last year at the Calzaghe-Kessler fight. Last year he was elected to the HOF.

Boxing is starting to die here in Denmark.

The promotion Bat mentioned- Team Vester - They are considering closing, no one ever shows up to their shows. Last show, there was 1000 people, which is not enough to run a promotion anywhere.
