i can't pick up on whats not to like about this amir kid.

fast hands, young kid, educated, power - so what if he hasn't bitten into the lion's share of great opposition - it'll happen.

Of course he can win A world title, you got the WBF, IBO IBC etc so yes. A good belt....Maybe in a while.

he needs to take a punch from someone who can punch before i belivee in him, i mean Willie Limond nearly Knocked him out and he aint even a hard hitter

hes being brought along slow, but you cant blame him for that. his promoter needs to protect his investment. but i think nate campbell will intimidate and beat him like he did diaz.

khan could be a very good fighter if he loses the bravado and chasing opponents with wild shots at the cost of his defence.

The thing that worries me is that he hasnt improved his defensive skills in my view since his debut. He still fights like an amateur when he stands in front of his opponents.

I think he will win a world title, probably when the current crop of champions are too old to throw it down at a good pace for 12 rounds, he will just overwhelm them with youth.

Khan is improving every fight. He's going to slow route, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. I'm confident in his future.

You will also see on the rankings Jon Thaxton the true geezer www.geezerspalace.co.uk appears 40th, so would you say Amir Khan is ten times better..? I DONT THINK SO!!!
You also have Yuri Romanov ranked 8th and I think you can tell that Amir Khan would not do to well against the ghost of a figure who would haunt you all night, wait for you to make mistake's then take your bleedin head off!!!
Now there is protecting your fighter but with Amir Khan I think everyone is getting bored of all the hype and none of the action also, his fighters cant even ****..
Its going to be very interesting to see if there is anymore feather fisted fighters out there for Amir Khan we must be running out by now, as he has had most of them.. It will be interesting to see him when he steps up to the top level where they all punch hard, I think he's in big trouble!!!
I don't get the hate. he is 16 fights into his career. can't think of a fighter that has faced better oposition in their first 16 fights of their careers.

I too would like to see that, I think Romanov has a bit too much for Khan at the moment but in a year or two I think Khan will be one of the best in lightweight/light-welterweight division
