Can Honeyghan-Curry be accurately compared to Forrest-Mosley I?

Both were undefeated showdowns, with one fighter supposively going to destroy the other. Obviously the Curry loss is seen as a much bigger upset, but do they at least sort of resemble each other? I haven't tried to dive into any boxing history pre-1990 yet, because I don't have 1990s or even current day stuff down pat, but...

I'm just curious how crazy it was when Curry lost.
