Natas Unveils Tye Fields Painting >>

Seattle, WA (April 7, 2008) - Multi-award winning artist Natas Two-zero-six has completed his latest painting, a pre-fight action painting of boxing legend Tye Fields going toe to toe with the American Military in downtown San Francisco.
The acrylic on canvas masterpiece is 100 inches by 110 inches and has been masterfully created to pay homage to the greatest boxer of any era. The spectacular painting is painted in typical Natas style, the viewer is placed right in the middle of the action as Tye Fields is in combat with the military post his Incredible Hulk-like rampage, also prior to his upcoming ‘Superfight’ against Monte Barrett.
“This is one of the most intriguing fighters in recent history. I had to paint it!” said Natas, who’s artwork is becoming a staple at high profile events around the globe. Collectors of his art range from celebrity clients and high-roller gamblers, to college kids who collect Natas designed apparel. Natas is best known for his vividly colored images that capture detailed expression and motion. Considered to be a leader in the new generation of sports artists, Natas follows a long tradition of artist’s who have painting boxing such as George Bellows, Thomas Eakins and in more recent decades, LeRoy Neiman.
Paintings are availible for $50,000 a piece and only 150 were made.
An alternate version, which is an enhanced replica of the original, is also available (seen below) for $150.
