Latest posted HW rankings from Ring's website. Everybody's been hatin on Wlad since he stunk up the house against Sultan but he's still clearly the best in a dull division right now. Even if he ain't the undisputed champ or Ring champ he's the man at HW right now and people should accept that until he gets beaten again. In a rematch I'd give Peter a punchers chance but as clearly as he got dominated last time (remember the 1st 2 knockdowns outside the 10th rd were bull**** calls and he basically lost every round) I doubt it. Anybody see any of the other top 10 ranked guys beatin Wlad right now? Interested to see opinions/explanations.

I think Wlad can beat them all, he has good skills and is a good athlete but I give everyone a puncher's chance against him.

Wlad can probobly beat them all and is the number one right now in the HW but since the HW division has fell in rankings in recent years, it get constantly criticized

Wladimir can only be beaten by himself if he fights foolishly again. His losses (Brewster, Purrity) where due to him making the mistake's of not properly pacing himself that cost him fights he was dominating and fighting the wrong fight against Sanders. Wlad stood right in front of a hard punching southpaw when he should have been jabbing and moving away from that straight left and then knocking Sanders out when he got tired.

Manny has corrected those mistakes and I hope Wladimir doesn't start making them again to please the pundits that say he's boring.

I agree. The competition just isnt there, Wladimir mops the floor with all of them most likely. Although I'd be interested to see how he does against Valuev, because of the height difference. Sam Peter has looked like **** lately, its seems as if he trains less and less and just relies on landing a big punch. And he hasnt even hit 30 years old yet. Wladimir beats him easier the second time around.

It's such a rank division that I really don't care. Hopefully Haye can restore a bit more excitement. I used to love the HW div.
