15 round fights?

I agree. draws would be almost non existent if they changed to a 13 round system.

It would only take one knockdown, point deduction, or even round to make that change worthless. Draws are just a part of boxing. I don't have a problem with it.

13-15 separates the champions from the pretenders. Without them we will never see the likes of the great slow-starters (Arguello, Sanchez) again. People underestimate the magnitude of the stylistic handicap imposed on some fighters by the elimination of the championship rounds.

12 rounds is fine...If Wlad vs Peter was a 15 round fight Peter would have been seriously hurt...Peter took terrible punishment from Wlad in that fight, he was badly hurt and was out on his feet in the 12th round...Peter might have left the ring in a body bag if there was a 13th round.

The research showed the most damage is done in the last few rounds, so I can't realistically see a rise to 13 rounds ever getting through now, to big an ask and would rightly recieve a lot of opposition.

That for me if there is a change, leaves the only logical one to 11. Same benefit of 13, minus the increased likelyhood of injury, and it's realstic.
