Am i going back to amature boxing to late?

Am 23, After a 6 year break, i am going back to have one final crack at boxing, i have just had my under bite and over bite fixed, so i have titanuim plates in my jaw, got to give them 4 months to set then am going bk. I had a record of 6 wins, 2 defeats before i stoped. The reason am going bk is after sparing a top british mma fighter, a european kick boxing champ, and a man who fought junior witter in the pro's, also lightheavy and middle amatures, for a couple of months i realised i still had something, and every one i sparred couldnt believe i hadnt fought for more than 6 years, and my southpaw style gave them fits. Av got a bit of weight to cut, am walking round at lightheavy am goin to fight a light middle. What do you guys think about my comback ideas? also am not coming bk to make the numbers up, i wanna win titles. And i have a point to prove i quit boxing last time cos of personal problems, and weight problems. But alot of people questioned my heart and desire. So they will look like idiots now that am bk and better than ever. Also my uncle was british lightweight champion so after a stint in the amatures am going pro with him. He already has 2 promising lightheavyweights so there will be some good training and training partners for me. Before you ask me guys who alot of these fighters that i have named, i dont like to name drop, so i would apreciate it if you respect that.

I didn't catch your age, but Matt Skelton was 35 when he turned pro and he at least got a title shot. Best of luck.

I say go for it, a lot of world champs turned pro much later than that. You could put in a couple of years in the amatuers and then do it.

If you've already done it, then no. Its not too late to do it.
