Michael Moorer was 22-0 with 22 KO's before making his Heavyweight debut in 1991. Moorer was a symbol of absolute destruction in the Light Heavyweight division, but the obvious move up to Heavyweight because of big money fights was pretty much a must for Moorer. Roy Jones Jr. will go down as the best Light Heavyweigh of all time. He completely dominated the division for over a decade. With hands faster then light speed and power, not to mention the athleticism to not get hit, Roy gave everyone he fought fits. Moorer who was not just a knockout artist, but a slick southpaw, and we've seen with south paws, most recently Antonio Tarver, that jones struggles with lanky south paws. So in the Light Heavyweight division, lets say if the fight took place in 1995 (a year before jones actually made his move to Light Heavyweight). Who would win this fight? And if so, would history have chancged for one of these men because of the fight?

Moorer's most effective weapon was his southpaw power jab, which would fit perfectly over Jones' lazy left. I could see Moorer beating Jones, if he was focused. -
i think moorer would win also, he would have been the underdog going in, but knowing what we know now its not hard to see that one good shot from moorer would have derailed the roy jones express. its hard to say what moorers punch resistance was like at 175 since he dominated so thouroughly. his chin was **** at heavyweight.. but that doesent mean it wouldnt have held up against a prime jones.Comment
