Question about Klitschkos???

Guys I vonder why russions or ukrainans hate Klitschko brothers???

I speak russian and sometimes I go to russian boxings forums and I can't understand that most of them making fun of Klitschkos, saying that they are like robots, they sucks and so on. They like Povetkin to much but he didn't prove anything still, they like Chagaev more than Kl. It's really strang.......Does anyone know why it's like that???????

I didn't know that. What a surprise. They should have been proud.

Perhaps it's because they are fighting out of Germany or because the Klitschkos support the pro-western coalition rather than the pro-Moscow.

I'm partly of Russian heritage and a Klitschko fan.

All the Russian and Ukrainians I know are very proud of the Klitschkos. The average people you meet on the street in Kiev and Moscow are very familiar with them.

Yup same here, I can't see how they'd hate on him ... Ukraine/Russia/Belarus etc etc, all East Europe.

I'm proud of Klitschko! he's a great champion.

LOL because you went to a Russian site? I dont see why they would get love on a russian forum. The odd fan yes, but why would Russians love the Klitschkos? Ukraine/US/Georgia are enemies #1 of the Russian state.

Vitaly even had an orange ribbon when he fought once.


Any sporting even that is Russia Vs. Ukraine is ****ing huge back there.

Any time a Russian football club plays a Ukrainian one, the tension is insane.


*check the profiles on boxing.ru, half the people there are from ukraine.


Didnt you guys see the inteview with Ovechkin before the last fight? "So who are you rooting for? Overchkin- "Ibragimov", "why?"...ovechkin doesnt know what to say, then goes "cause hes russian" or something along those lines.

I'll explain one more for those who dont know.

Russia and Ukraine are not friends, familes do have connections in both countries, but so does Canada and US, around 2% of the Russian population are ethnic Ukrainians, an even higher % of ethnic Russians live in Ukraine.

A good 40% of Ukraine speaks Russian, hence press written in Russian does not mean that its Russian press. Klitschkos are a perfect example, Wladimir has a hard time putting two Ukrainian words together because he comes from a military family, and in Soviet Union they only spoke RUssian in the military.

Historicaly and politicaly speaking there is no love between Russia and Ukraine, they love each other just as much as the Chinese love the Japaniese. Russian recently threatend to point their ICBMs at Ukraine lol.


And there are the hardcore "Soviets" who still loath for the Soviet Union and think of it as one country and all the people that where in it to be one nation.
