what some are trying to say is that mexico gets more exposure in a boxing scene than guys in asia. see valero is a great fighter a venezuelan but he lives in japan. but no one gives a **** about him here in the US. so just like that u wouldn't give a **** about anyone if it would be another race than a mexican or if a fighter doesn't fight that much in the US

It's not that, the FACT of the matter IS ...In the US there are few people that have these foreign channels to watch . I don't know about countries around the world having HBO or American channels.But what is crazy is that there are currently many Champions that live outside of the US and their biggest fan base is in their home countries. SOOOO they fight in front of their countrymen for the money they know they can make fighting weaker "local" opponents.It happens with mexico too.But then you have innovaters like PAC and Hatton and many others before them, that take that risk of fighting in the states against "world class" fighters.

He beat Robbie Peden(beat Campbell X2) and Agapito Sanchez who had a DRAW with Pacman!! And he Beat JACA, that's not counting MAB and Juarez. OR do you not follow boxing that much and have no clue who they are??

Ok...I'll give him Robbie Peden. Sanchez only got that draw with Pacquiao because the cut from a headbutt on Pacquiao's eye stopped the fight in the 4th round. MAB was the 1 i wasnt counting and i felt beat Marquez. Jaca was a rookie but still took him to the limit and juarez has been nothing more than mediocre in the pros. great list of notable victories huh?? Not counting MAB thats 1 big win against 1 notable fighter with the rest being comfortable padding on the record.

Asians, not just Filipinos have had excellent fighters. The only thing holding them back is distance. If these Asian countries sit right next to the US, they can send fighters in bunches (millions perhaps) just like Mexico does. Heck, even British fighters don't get to step on US soil as much as Mexicans.
