penolsa is a good old vet and deserves his rematch with deleon. Almost all his losses are split decisions in other guys hometowns. He's been around forever and has been a champ in a few weight class's and should get his holy grail fight against deleon. aswell i'd love to see rey bautsta get back to being as he was before his fight with deleon.

as expected, the fights werent worth a penny, mismatches as always in the Philippines. Good boxing was held in Puerto Rico, Calderon, Alex de jesus and Carita Lopez ( Watchout Banal), won their. respective matches.

Watching Calderon fight frustrates me... I feel just like his opponent felt... FRUSTRATIONS~~~ It gives me heartache..... BORING!!!

If your read my entire post, you saw that Gerry lost 3-5 title fights in Korea and Japan. As you know, Koreans and Japanese don't fight much outiside their country. If those 3-5 fights were in the US, Gerry will get the judges nod.

Well, Jhonny is taller, which is an advantage. Yeah Jhonny won the rounds till Gerry's counterpunch to the liver.

Gerry has challenge Ponce for a rematch already.

Japan really doesn't do that. If that was true, Munoz would have lost his belt recently. And for some reason they felt they needed to give Pongaselek Wonjongkem a draw with Daisuke Naito. Daisuke clearly won that fight and why japan didn't give him the W is beyond me.

I am not saying that Japan does this all the time. But just read this in the internet. Also, If it was a split decision that goes the way of the hometown fighter, you have to think that there might be something is up. How many times you heard of Japanese fighting outside of their country. Same thing with Thailand. I am not putting those fighters down but just wondering if Penalosa's 4-5 title fights happened in the US. Even the Munoz fight, would the outcome be diffirent if it was in the US.

Oh please........quit picking on midgets. Penalosa is a flyweight but still KOed 3 inch higher Gonzales. It's like Delahoya versus Mexico's best Counterpuncher Marquez..........do you even think that Marquez will be able to display his finesse against DelaHoya?
