Watching the same morning show in TFC. Their intervieing the CEO of Golden Boy, Leshkowitz(whatever is the spelling). He said their trying to put another world cup, Philippines VS Mexico rematch. Somwehere around december.

I can understand that JMM is trying to get the rematch but he should had handled that way differently. Pac didnt look scared, but JMM seemed rather desperate to put him on the spot. It was almost borderline disrespectful in my opinion seeing that he's in his homeland with the people cheering him and ****. I didnt like that at all.

Agreed. I thought JMM won both fights, but I cant see how you get a rematch when you are 0 for 2. And you sure as **** dont try to call Pac out like this. It made JMM look bad.

JMM looked like a moron in that situation... He's insisting that he won his fights with PAC yet he's begging for another fight... Isn't it moronic for the winner to ask for another fight? Let the loser ask for another shot, not the winner begging for another fight...

I dont think Marquez was being disrespectful. He had an issue with Pacquiao and fronted him face to face like real men are supposed to. I say **** all the political correctness, they shouldnt have been polite to each other during the interview. Its general knowledge that nothing builds up a fight faster than 2 guys genuinely hating each other. Just look at barrera-morales or ali-frazier. I dont think trash talking would have any effect on fan perception of marquez in the philippines or pacquiao in mexico. If anything it would build mutual respect from the opposing country if they hated each other.

I consider it disrespect... JMM could have just said that they fought 2 close highly competitive fights and he still wants a 3rd fight as well as the fans... He can drive what he wanted without insisting that he won those fights...

totally agree. pac should've said fall back in line because i have other bigger opponents too challenge.

i didn't think it was disrespectful of JMM to ask for a rematch. for the type of fights these two have given, a rematch is a no brainer. but if JMM and his crew did have an actual contract ready for Pac to sign right on the spot, that would have been disrespectful and an ******* move.
