Penalosa, Bautista and Banal Win in Manila

The event was built up as a war between the fighters of the Philippines and the rest of the world. The stage was set in Philippines before a wild crowd at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila. In the main event, WBO bantamweight champion Gerry Penalosa (53-6, 36KOs) stopped Ratanachai Sor Vorapin (72-9, 48KOs) in the eight-round. [details]

Well, Penaloza just showed that he is the right fighter for the WBO bantamweight belt protector.. also for WBO super bantamweight belt??? Better get ready Daniel Ponce De Leon!! For Boom Boom Bautista.. he just proved that he was just got by Daniel POnce de Leon's big hands by chance and never given a chance by De Leon to resume his composure! well, that's boxing nad plain and simple, he lost to De Leon! but if given another chance for the rematch, will it be a complete copy of the first match? I don't think so.. but one thing to be consider, Bautista should fight more 2 or 3 more matches before he will face De Leon again for better! AJ "Bazooka" Banal.. just put your eye on him, he's the next Pacman and I think he's even better than Pacman because he have the power and a tactician! I think he will be a big star sooner!
