the judges shouldn't GIVE him anything.

he doesn't try to really hurt manny. imo he had a few opportunities and let him off the hook. he tries to OUTBOX manny. when you are trying to go for a decision you live it in the judges hands. how many times do trainers tell their fighters don't leave it up to the judges? exactly. juan manuel is very skilled but when you play a counterpunching game you run the risk of a bad decision.

to juan manuel he's undefeated. you can make a good point he is too. but unfortunately you can also make the case the other way on some of those fights. that's the difference between manny and juan manuel. juan tries to win by decision and gets mad that it doesn't go his way. manny tries to get the guy out of there. sometimes that plays a role with the judges too. sometimes in a close round you might give it to the guy trying to get the other guy out rather than the guy trying to get points.

nothing is gonna change for the 3rd although i still want to see it. juan manuel can't fight any better. manny can't fight any better. there's only 2 ways a 3rd could end. another controversial decision or a manny knockout. even if juan manuel wins it won't be convincingly. juan manuel is just a bad matchup for manny plain and simple. doesn't make juan manuel better than manny. doesn't even make juan manuel equal to manny. if you look at their resume juan manuel's doesn't match up. true he's been avoided by a lot of people but that doesn't change the fact it's true. you can argue ken norton beat ali 3 times. doesn't make norton better than ali.

fights against one guy doesn't define you. it's your whole resume. juan manuel's resume is good but agapito sanchez , robbie peden and medina doesn't make you great. don't say barrera either. manny doesn't get much credit for a 2003 barrera win. juan shouldn't for a 2007 one either. i think the barrera from 2003 and the morales manny fought beats marquez.

juan needs to demand a rematch but still fight other fighters. what happens when the 3rd one goes against him as well? i was robbed 3 times! give me a 4th?

if the money was right. he will. they'll fight by the end of the year or beginning of next. guaranteed. too much money in it. golden boy offered manny $6 mil. already. you don't turn down $6 million. they're just positioning themself for the most money before accepting. problem with juan manuel is he can't make big money without manny. manny can make money without juan manuel. everyone talks about how juan took less money than manny he had to! taking 1/5 or so of manny's purse is STILL the biggest purse juan has ever gotten! how much would he make fighting guzman $500K? valero $400K? manny can pull me off the streets and fight me in manila and make more than that. if manny beats diaz he has the option of big money fights at 135 or a superfight at 140 with hatton. think of it. american casino , american ppv , asian tv , british tv...... $$$$$$. he can make more than $6 million. they're just exploring their options.

can't blame juan for wanting manny. it's big bucks.

it goes back to what i was saying. if you are trying to win by decision don't get mad if it doesn't go your way. fortune favors the bold right? in a close round with the exact amount of punches landing do you give it to the guy punching to hurt his opponent or the guy punching to get the guy off of him?
