I don't know much about his coach maybe he needs more in put. McGuigan said he could benefit from sparring in America. He needs to do that. If he could tighten up then he'll be a threat.

Amir Khan could use a similar type of guard to the one Roy used against Tito. The size disparity between Khan and is his opponents is so big and he is so long he could do this.

I personally think he needs to fight these top guys now. He is one of the biggest lightweights I have ever seen, and he is still filling out.

He might as well bite the bullet,

Not sure about him using the Winky defense, but it could work for him because as you said he is a big lightweight with big, long arms.

I don't think he should be in against the top guys yet though, I think Warren should put him in against guys like Edner Cherry or Kid Diamond right now or maybe Peterson, but not against the best guys in the division just yet.

Another question is, how long will he be able to make 135? He'll have to move up to 140 sooner or later when he starts to fill out a bit more.

Yeah, I think he'll have to move up in 2 or 3 years max.

That could fill out Wembley Stadium.

I'd back Khan against Hatton if he irons out a few defensive deficencies. The dane got some decent body work done though that'd be a problem vs Hatton.

Although Amir has huge, height and reach, advantages. Ricky hasn't looked good against slick boxer types.

Amir could definetely beat Paulie Malignaggi. If he fought him tommorow.

If you can't punch, your in trouble against Khan.

But they have to be able to really ****. Khan is ****in huge. Look how thick he is. He should be able to take a decent shot.
Should be able to, but he can't, and that is a big problem indeed.

In 2-3 years he will be 147. His frame is way to big for LW. It wont be healthy staying there much longer.
