Cotto won a UD over a past prime Sugar Shane, while PBF won a SD over a past prime DLH. The difference between DLH and SSM is that SSM has had much more success in his last several fights vs DLH has not only won a gifted decision to Felix Sturm, but he has been inactive and is notably affected by his age. Mosley has at least shown to be able to beat a prime fighter in Collazo, while DLH hasn't beat a prime fighter since he heat Fernando Vargas in 2002.

I really don't care who beat who. Cotto won a close fight over Mosley who is past prime. Floyd is better than Shane at 147 now. Shane is a fool for standing toe-to-toe with a bull. Shane was right there in front of Cotto. Miguel won't have an easy time hitting Floyd. Shane fought the wrong fight and it was still close.

Using that logic; if PBF barely beat a past prime fighter in DLH and Cotto beat a past prime fighter in SSM who is better than DLH, then that should mean that Cotto beats Mayweather??

So then surely you have no problems with the Oscar vs Floyd rematch.

And using that logic, Cotto is better than DLH, so where does that take you?

Floyd beat Oscar without using his best at a weight he doesn't belong. He beat him barely throwing any combinations. He barely broke a sweat. Cotto won a close decision over Mosley. Floyd is much better than Mosley especially with Shane being old. Cotto couldn't handle that.

yeah but mayweather was fighting at 154 and still easily won the fight. probably more decisively than cotto's UD.
