By Cliff Rold - In the best performance of his still infant professional career, 27-year old 2004 U.S. Olympic Super Heavyweight Jason Estrada (12-1, 2 KO) of Providence, Rhode Island put on a solid show for the locals on Friday night at the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The victim of that show was the 6’8 comebacking veteran Lance “Mount” Whitaker (32-5-1, 27 KO) of Van Nuys, California who, aged 35, was unable to match the pace of his smaller foe, outlanded by some 100 punches in a ten round affair. lance whittaker makes everyone look like a great combination puncher. ****in human heavy bag,
it was whittaker after all that created the myth that sultan ibragimov was an exciting fighter.
as for estrada, he will never step up, sooner or later he will lose a fight he is supposed to win and then just fade away into obscurityComment

Estrada still needs to lose another 10-15 lbs. before I'll take him seriously, but he has the physical gifts like hand speed and good reflexive instincts to where he could eventually mold himself after James Toney and be a solid flat footed counter puncher. He has a way to go though.Comment
