I think Taylor and Wink need each other at this point. They had a draw, winky will never KO Taylor and they can settle the score.....safe bet for both guys and decent money to be made I would think since it's a rematch of a previous draw......**** the abc trinketts.

Winky has said he will never fight at 154 again, although an unlikely fight with Oscar De La Hoya would probably change his mind. There is not enough money or interest to make a fight with Vernon Forrest.

Winky would probably cut off a leg and make welterweight to fight Oscar. Presumably, insofar as interest is concerned, you were refering to Winky and crew's career interest (as well as any matchmakers/promoters/etc. involved); what about general fight-fan interest? Granted, they aren't the most exciting fighters on the planet, but they're good, and they do have fans.

If I'm being honest, I'll concede that WW and Forrest are top rate fighters. However on a realistic scale of their fanbase, a fight between them barely registers a blip. If they were willing to split a million dollar purse it might work, but we all know that isn't happening.

Good point. I doubt they'd be too keen on co-headling an Andre Berto B.A.D. card or doing their thing on a Pavlik/Duddy/Abraham undercard either.

I wish people would stop talking as if Winky can still make 154. He hasn't been there in 4 years now. He even said he couldn't anymore.

Wright V Taylor makes good sense, decent money, good match up, both fighters would come out looking as though they have still got it to match it with the better fighters win, lose or draw.

winky pavlik is the fight most people want to see

hopkins loses to taylor twice, then gets a title shot. kessler lost, now hes about to get a shot. but winky has to fight somebody before he "earns" a shot with pavlik?
