Hopkins has to beat Joe C or the fight won't happen. I got a feeling a disputed decision in Hopkins-Calzaghe will result in a rematch. If that don't happen and B-Hop wins I think he'll take on Jones and win a close decision.

60-40, granted roy jones was pound for pound but hopkins was already in
his like 9th or 10th year as undisputed middleweight champ and hadnt loss
since he fought roy in 1993 he deserved the respect.

Roy deliberatley priced him self out.
You're all wrong about this. Roy was, a minimum of, twice the draw Hopkins was at that time, had twice the record when you consider the level of opposition, and of course has a 1-0 record against Bernard. 60-40 was generous.

You can criticize Roy for not making some big fights happen that should have (Michalczewski, in particular) but not this one.

Right now I'd favour Jones by close decision. I still think his losses to Tarver and Johnson reflected his struggles to re-adjust to the light heavy limit after being up at heavy, no chin, no legs, no stamina.

Its taken a while, but he looked good against Trinidad, who certainly was not shot. Come to think of it Roy looked damn fast for a guy his age, he looked more impressive than Hopkins looked against Winky Wright! I dont think Roy has the beating of Joe Calzaghe but he may look good in spurts!

Bull****, Light heavyweight Roy always would do anything to get out of a tough challenge.

Both of them have changed a lot since their last fight, mostly Hopkins, but this would be interesting, but expect Jones going after Calzaghe if he wins more then Hopkins, but Jones is still hungry for a fight and he'll fight anyone but I think he's just waiting for Hopkins-Calzaghe to make his decision

Jones UD. Hopkins isnt a good enough counterpuncher to catch Roy. Especially cause he's slowed down with age and weight.
