Jonathan Thaxton vs Yuri Romanov EBU Lightweight Title ..::ROUND BY ROUND::..

    ROUND BY ROUND
    April 4th

Winner = Yuri Romanov TKO 6th round through corner stoppage.

    [ROUND 1]
Jon is throwing wild punches and has got caught clean a few times already. Thaxton got rocked already.

    Yuri Romanov 10-9

    [ROUND 2]
Romanov is all over Thaxton, hurt him again... I can see a knock out here.

    Yuri Romanov 10-9

[ROUND 3] Thaxton's nose is broke, or at least I think so. Romanov picking up where he left off. Another round to him.

    Yuri Romanov 10-9

[ROUND 4] Thaxton is cut up bad, Romanov looks really good. On the fringe of world class. Very accurate punching with power. Romanov going for the early KO.

    Yuri Romanov 10-9

[ROUND 5] Romanov still on top but Jono seems to have settled down a little. Romanov's accuracy is really troubling Thaxton. I think it will be stopped soon on cuts though.

    Yuri Romanov 10-9

    YURI ROMANOV WINS.

    THAXTON PULLED OUT.

Looking forward to it, I like Romanov to win but you never know with Thaxton's home field advantage.

Thaxton is getting his ass kicked so far. Maybe Romanov will gass out though...

                Agreed.

Romanov boxing really well, could he be a major player in the Lightweight division?

Romanov wins, his corner has pulled Thaxton out.

It sounds like he is dominateing Thaxton, I'd like to see him against Khan, not sure Khan would take that fight
