We are coming up on the end of March Madness this weekend and early next week and I'm not going to watch one of the three games left despite watching as much as possible up until this point. And here's why:
The three biggest games are left. Four teams, and I hate all of em except UCLA. So I don't plan on watching the Final Four unless UCLA makes the title game at which point I'll cheer them over any of the others. I'm a Louisville fan so I'm not cheering for UNC or Memphis, and nobody likes Kansas.
Now take boxing over the next two weeks. The two biggest fights are Calzaghe-Hopkins and Cintron-Margarito and I hate all four of these guys for one reason or another. Yet I'm definitely going to be watching because I know some of them are going to lose and hopefully lose bad. I'll tune in to see somebody get their block knocked off (though it certainly won't happen in Calzaghe-Hopkins lol), but like I said at least some of these guys with big egos get beat in April.
Point being even if we don't like the guys, we watch to cheer against them or just because we like watching fights. I don't know too many people who watch college basketball just because they like watching basketball.
