Bernard Hopkins: "I Will Beat Calzaghe Easy"

Of course it is realistic that BH could beat JC. But there is no reason for BH to go over the top and say it will be easy. Bh never beats people that easy.
But i think BH will lose because he will have to lose good and proper someday. BH has lost, but not yet good and proper. And why not against someone of JCs reputation?
Of course on the other hand JC will also have to lose as well. But in my opinion JC will be out of the sport before he loses perhaps. So he will not get the chance to even lose, let alone lose good and proper if you know what i mean?Last edited by hugh grant; 04-04-2008, 08:35 AM.Comment

I wish they'd both shut up already.. Maybe their nonsense is working in building the fight.. Is it just me or is it more interesting when a guy like Mayorga talks this kinda crap? Mayorga and HOP are equally crazy but mayorga is more entertaining with this stuff IMO.Comment

Calzaghe's greatest asset above all else is his tenacity and eagerness to fight. I would not bet against this guy. The guy just has a cold, steely look in his eye that says he refuses to lose. He will impose his will on the older man and overcome him. Calzaghe shocked the **** out of me when he took some monstrous punches from Kessler and just kept coming all the while adjusting his style. This guy is a master class boxer and if Hopkins thinks he'll beat him that easily he is deluded big time.Comment

Hopkins is the king of **** talking.During a recent conference call with the media, light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins promised to make it look easy when he meets undefeated Joe Calzaghe on April 19 in Las Vegas. Hopkins has promised to make Calzaghe's high workrate work against him in the fight. [details]Comment

....Bernard makes a point in that he is a great counter puncher and he should have tons of opportunities to do just that. Still, he is going to have to throw alot of punches and maintain a higher work rate than he has in years,in order to keep Joe off of him. Hopkins does not want to get in a fight where he has to actually throw more than 10 punches a round. I believe Cal is going to wear him down and then knock Bernard out.Comment
