It's a tough act to follow, but the network tries its damnest to outdo itself this weekend, as a pair of former champs attempt to salvage what's left of their careers in separate bouts.
Free-swinging ex-bantamweight titlist Jhonny (not Johnny) Gonzalez appears in the co-feature as he takes on well-traveled featherweight journeyman Edel Ruiz. In the main event, former two-division beltholder Jesus Chavez is matched significantly tougher, taking on junior lightweight prospect Daniel Jimenez in their ten-round lightweight battle.
