I've had enough of tarvers excuses about weight from the rocky movie, here's why:
1. He said he'd never use that excuse after roy claimed he was weight drained for their first fight (which roy won anyway)
2. buddy mcgirt (tarvers trainer for hopkins fight) said in lead up to fight with hopkins that the weight is not an issue, as its different to roys situation, as roy was losing muscle to make weight, and tarver was losing fat, as picture shows.

Man, the first fight was a total OWNAGE. It does not warrant a rematch at all. I like Tarver, but he's full of ****.

I'm actually curious to see how Tarver would perform another time around. I just wanna see if it'd be different. With that said though, he got dominated in the first one, and hasn't looked too impressive lately. It could happen though, if Tarver wins Saturday and Hopkins loses. It's also possible though that Hopkins could fight Jones again if he loses if Calzaghe fights Pavlik.
