YURI FOREMAN got a BIG article in the NEW YORK TIMES

Im reading now. Its very big. Talks about him studying ***ish stuff and also fighting for the championship at the same time.

While its great that a guy like Yuri is getting this kind of exposure and stuff, its disheartening when u think that real NY prospects, like Cotto a few years back, cant get exposure in the NY times

Salita has long been the poster boy for putting religion first in New York prospects, but Foreman has taken his game to the next level by fighting top contenders and being respected for his abilities, not just his persona.

Foreman is a very likable person, very humble yet so talented. He has the stuff to take it to the next level, problem is his lack of power. He can get your respect if he catches you, unlike Malignaggi.

Yuri doesn't lack power, he lacks the will of of hurting someone.
Anytime he hurted Saul Roman tonight he just stepped back and waited till he is good again. I couldnt believe it, he just waits. He would have stopped that guy easy

              i agree...

dont get me wrong he's a good upcoming boxer but he's no elite fighter or anything...

i really dont see why so many people are getting behind him (ie. versus commentators, the NY Times, etc.).

he was matched up in this last fight with a guy he was OBVIOUSLY better than so of course he should have gave him a boxing clinic.

and his KO power isnt stellar either...

              i think he's a decent average boxer.

i dont think he's the next Ali or Mayweather, etc.

i'd rather see more exposure in boxing when it comes to fighters like Pavlik (who deserve it more) you know what i mean?
