    punching technique has progressed

my boxing knowledge only goes back like 5 years probably not even that, but when i see fights from 10, 20 or 30 years ago, the punching technique of the great fighters looks weak compared to fighters today, im not trying to say fighters today are better atall i love watching old fighters, but alot of punches ali, robinson, duran and so on threw, looked abit wild, whereas fighters today would be tought to keep punches tighter and smoother. boxing just seems alot smarter and slick compared to those old fights.
