The reason Boxing went into the "Dark Ages" recently was plain and simple. Casual fans lost interests. They lost interests because the excitement in Boxing died. The excitement in Boxing died because Promoters became to greedy and started to take advantage of the fans and of their Boxers. Also, boxers decided to become businessmen above boxers. And when these business men put aside quality of fights to make their wallets bigger. Boxing became boring to the casual fan. THATS what ruined boxing. Judges scoring fights horribly wrong like they did in Casaymayor/Santa Cruz and in Spink's last fight is what is ruinging Boxing. Boxers hyping up a fight into atmospheric heights and producing some boring potshot dancing is what is ruining boxing.

So is passionate fans crying robbery someone reflecting bad on boxing? Does a passionate fighter complaining about judging reflect bad on boxing? Do unofficial PPV numbers reflect bad on Boxing?

Realize that you are complaining about fans that didnt even exist 4 or 5 years ago. Realize that you are complaining about a fighter, JMM, that did something that fighters werent doing 4 or 5 years ago, put on an EXCITING fight.
