A question for Calzaghe and Hopkins fans...

I like Hopkins, I hope he earns my respect by actually fighting against Joe though.

Hopkins is one of my favorite fighters and I'm routing for him to win. I like Joe alright but I wouldn't consider myself a fan. He isn't one of my favorites or anything.

I do respect Hopkins and what he's achieved, he's a great fighter, but I'm a little short of being able to call myself a fan. Reasons would be the way he carries himself both in and outside the ring. Outside I think he could be a bit more respectful, not keen on his white boy slurs, arrogant statements, and rants in press conferences, making it all him him. Inside the ring like most I agree he's slow, dirty, and those things, with head butting n'all, leave me unable to support him. Still a lot of respect, great fighter, athlete, an un deniable toughness and legend. No question.
