Why do they keep saying These BOXERS are Handsome?

I hear different announcers always say these boxers are handsome or goodlooking guys when they commentate there fights? Do they have to announce that a fighter is handsome is this to lure female viewers or is it **** to say the guy is goodlooking to them?

Because atleast a portion of the sport is about how a fighter LOOKS. Think, De La Hoya. Part of his success is based upon the fact that a lot of chicks wanted to him to get in their Hoyas. Lol... It helps sell a fight, in some ways. Some of it's filler, or sometimes it leads into the announcer saying something else.. Like... "He's a good looking young man. Will he be after this fight?"

It's not like the announcers just have long pauses and then all of a sudden bust in with... "I'd sure like to suck that guys ****."
