    Who is the best fighter Floyd has fought?

    As in, when he fought them. Oscar is obviously the pick for the best in their prime.

    I would say Oscar. Even though he wasn't in his prime, throughout his whole career he's better than anyone else Floyd fought.

                I'd say Ricky Hatton.

                The fight with ODLH was only close because Oscar made Floyd agree to all these bull **** stimulations.

                If the fight was @ 147 I think Mayweather would win by a landslide.

                I wouldn't argue with anyone who said Castillo or Judah though. Judah at the time was still a very capable opponent.

                  a better question is, who is the best fighter Floyd faced at the time they fought? Diego Corrales was a better fighter than Oscar De La Hoya was at the time Floyd fought Diego than when Floyd fought Oscar.

                    Corrales. At the time, that was supposed to be a REALLY tough fight. Fight he was supposed to lose. He handled himself well, to say the least.

                    Honorable mention going to Castillo and De La Hoya.
