Damn, Is that Wilfred Benitez? That dude was a child prodigy, winning a belt at 17, 3 division champ. He is the forgotten man out of the great fighters of the 80's. I see heavy drug use in that face of his.

ye ur right man he did used alot of drugs during his career especially on his prime...he was immature because he tasted fame in a really young age.

i think it's a combination of drugs and a form of pugilistic dementia.some kind a brain disease that his brother had as well.his defense was so good cause his brothers use to fight him in the ring as a kid,i think that's where the pugilistic dementia came from.

              Whoa is that Benitez???

What a pity. When ppl talk about Hagler, Hearns and Leonard they really should include this guy. He was probably the most naturally gifted of them all. I believe he only had about 2 weeks preparation to the Leonard-fight (Benitez was super-lazy) and still went 15 rounds.

Is that really Wilfredo? **** like that is the reason I can't fault a fighter for being cautious in the ring, after all that fighting is done you still want your health when you retire.

the leonard fight was a a close enough fight to merit a rematch[though leonard tko'ed him in a somewhat controversial stoppage]
