If Winky were to beat a credible middleweight, it would make the fight more obvious, and difficult for Arum to ignore. Winky sitting on his ass and screaming at the top of his lungs however does nothing. It would also keep Winky sharper.

Winky openly admitted a couple weeks ago that he only wants big money fights. So now b/c Winky has identified Pavlik as his potential cash cow everyone is supposed to look at Pavlik like he owes Winky something? It's foolish especially in light of the fact that Pavlik's in works to get Arthur Abraham's belt. For me.. Ideally I would like to see Pavlik take 1. Lockett then 2. Abraham, then 3. Duddy(as his tuneup) then 4. Winky. But I have a feeling someone will spring up as a genuine contender at MW in the next year.

Yeah, Winky looked like **** in the Sam Soliman fight and almost got out worked.

I think Taylor is a better fighter than Pavlik, he has just been looking sloppy since his match with winky. Taylor broke through the guard, because his hands are pretty fast and he has power that got in when Winky took risks. Pavlik is just power and will not be fast enough for winkys quick guard. I think Winky wins this by decision if he fights like how he fought Taylor.
