Same here. Activity doesn't win fights landing accurate punches does and that is what Hopkins did. I bet those same judges that scored both fights for Taylor would have given Dlh the win against Mayweather since DLH was more active! ****** judges!!

Hopkins is not unbeatable......he is just unknockoutable. And no matter who he goes up against, it will be competitive.

And lets not dismiss Taylor as a nobody now. He was unbeaten and he remainded unbeaten for a few years getting in some good title defenses. He could still rack up some nice victories before his career is over.

The problem with Hopkins fighting Taylor is that Hopkins was a lil intimidated by the whole Taylor ( next heir apparent to the middleweight throne) talk. Hopkins knew that Taylor was bigger, stronger and younger and he didn't do as much as he could have. He got too defensive at times but still a case could be made he won both fights.

Either way in both fights and what he did after those fights, he proved that he is a better fighter then Taylor.

hopkins isn't undefeatable... actually calzaghe should be able to beat this 43 year old version of hopkins... but it'd be ****** to count Hopkins out.

In addition it was during a time when Taylor had a very good KO ratio, I believe he was 23-0 with 17 KO's (10 out of his prior 12 fights he won by KO) so Hopkins I think gave him a lot of respect (maybe too much).

Indeed. I was rooting for Hopkins and even I was intimidated by Taylor because at that point, Taylor barely lost a round in any of his fights.

He was dominant with his jab. Hopkis exposed alot of his flaws that were eventually his downfall.

Yeah I think Hopkins did expose him just a bit. More so though I think Taylor mentally went downhill after he beat hopkins. He didn't have that same fire or desire anymore. His fights were pure **** up until Pavlik 1, which ironically he got KO'd.

it was close but Taylor got the decision and IMO the decision was correct both times , its not like Hopkins was robbed ,Hopkins only has himself to blame for losing those fights he threw nothing in the 1st fight but he still had an opurtunity to rectify that decision but he chose to fight the 2nd fight the same way as he did in the first

I found the Winky and Ouma fights pretty good. I scored the Winky fight a draw and have no problem for either man winning

Ouma was entertaining, but he did a lot of things wrong.

I scored the Hopkins fights for Hopkins. I need to rewatch them though and don't really have a problem with saying Taylor won. I remember it was close and some rounds were a ***** to score. Round 1 in the rematch is an example.
