except cunningham will be looking to win a decision, and is too smart to do that. you're talking as if USS will be blindly lunging in trying to get a knockout. Haye has never fought a US boxer on the world level. and we all know what happens to the majority of british fighters when they box with an american on the world level.

and you talk about his great amateur experience but it's mostly against british boxers, which deems it less valuable than an american amateur career.

How would Cunningham have been Haye's mandatory, Cunningham has a paper belt and is thus not ranked in any other organisation. Haye has an excellent amateur background against international heavyweights. I agree that Cunningham is skilled and might give Haye a few problems but I think Haye would win by Ko in the first 6 rounds.

Obviously hes British but he was a silver medalist in the Amateur World Championships beaten only by the Cuban three time World Amateur Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Odlanier Solís, does that not suggest he was an excellent amateur?

I like Cunningham and he is a decent fighter but Haye could easily match him on boxing ability and is far stronger and more powerful, and Cunningham could not keep Haye off him.
