So to you the W would not be enough for the 1spot even temporarily unless floyd absolutely does not fight Cotto huh?? interesting opinion. I would give him the 1 spot and only give it back to floyd with a win over cotto.
A win for Pac would hands down make him #1, floyd cant just hang around with the #1 spot by fighting the big show and talking trash on interviews. He said hatton was a one deminsional fighter and that DLH wasnt any good, well this is the competition he's recently just beat and wants to give rematches too. not to smart downsizing his own achievments.

There is not a huge size difference between Manny and De La Hoya. Pernell Whitaker was 5' 6 fighting at welterweight.

Although this fight probably wont happen because of money and the fact that Oscar has everthing to lose and nothing to gain, while Pac has everything to gain and nothing to lose, since people expect him to lose.

So there's not a huge size difference between Paul Williams (6'2") and David Haye (6'3"), correct?

Its all about body frame. At a slim 6'2 Paul Williams looks more like a basketball player than a fighter. Meanwhile Kimbo Slice looks like a brick wall for 6ft even. Pacquiao's got the typical short slim asian frame. As ripped as he looks for a little guy he wouldnt stand a chance fighting at his everyday weight. In a couple years of careful weightgain of muscle maybe...But not 7months from now.

i dont think the size difference will be too much. this doesnt look bad. pernell whitaker was 5'6 147 i think pacman can do it. dont think he'll win but i do think it could be competitive

You forget that whitaker has a pretty wide frame. Even though he is about the same height as pacman he was bigger at that weight and his size actually filled out. We have yet to see if Pacquiao's size fills out at lightweight let alone welterweight.

Oscar should fight 4 circus midgets instead.

That's not possible. Oscar's head is as wide as a dining table.

Oscar fighting manny is a lose lose situation, while Pacman cannot lose either way...big paycheck, gets props for having big balls for fighting a guy twice his size when he gets knocked out.

even pacman knows oscar will bowl him over lol...but he aint going out without a huge check smart move.

This will make for a good 24/7.. but I doubt the midgets will be very effective at 147.
