same reason he lost to winky. styles make fights, he just gave shane alot of trouble that he could'nt cope with. -

forrest's style and size advantage, plus shane keeps moving up in weight, his power hasnt carried up, and he is getting older, when all you rely on is speed that will fade, he isnt adjusting his style rightComment

becuase he was too much for shaneOriginally posted by triggerhappywhy did shane lose to vernon forrest twice?
he was too technicly sound
to strong
to long
to big
to fast
he was just to much for shane
shane doesnt do to well with these bigger guys
he really needs to go back down to 147 if not lower
altho dont think he can go down that much weight anymore
and shane doesnt learn form his mistakes
hes gonna lose again to winky
this time winky prolly wont show him as much respect
he'll prolly get him outta there b4 the last bellComment

Forrest was just better than Shane that's why. He used his jab to really keep Shane from exploding in the way he does. After he established distance with his jab he began to hit Mosley with the right hand and held on when Shane got inside. A good jab is the main weapon to use against Mosley because Shane doesn't use his jab. He just jumps in with combinations which he doesn't even throw anymore so with the jab you can keep him from doing that and that opens him up for other punches. Disrupt his rhythm and he seems to fall apart like against Winky.Comment
