Why does Boxing do this? Just to hurt itself?

Last weekend had nothing going on on either network. It would have made more sense to have one of the two bouts last weekend so then we could have continous boxing. March could have ended really strong, not that it wasn't a great month already.

Showtime should have put it on this weekend. It's ridiculous that they always do this. I mean I'm still going to tape it on my DVR, but the card isnt as appealing against HBO's offering. If it were this week, I'd be looking forward to it.

I'll be DVR'ing both fights in HiDef, but I'll be watching the HBO feed live, maybe switching between rounds to check the action on SHO.

The Showtime card starts at 9 PM EST and HBO's card begins at 10 PM EST. So I'll be watching Dawson-Johnson live, then switch over to HBO for the full card. I'll catch Tarver-Woods on replay the same night on Showtime West or Showtime Too.

I'll be watching both. I have a DirecTV Tivo box with two lines connected, so I'll be recording both at the same time.

I'm actually going to Tampa with a bunch of my boys cause we have tickets to the Woods v Tarver fight and Dawson v Johnson fight. More than likely we will put out a p4pboxing video and try to get some interviews with the fighters. I have another boy who lives in Tampa recording the HBO fight so we can watch it when we get home from the fight. I hate it when Showtime and HBO go head to head...it just doesn't maximize their full ratings potential especially when all fights are good fights. Whoever put the poll up should put watching both as an option.
