      Calzaghe the protected Euro f.ag.

If you thought Calzaghe was such a disgrace you wouldn't post threads about him everyday.

If Calzaghe beats Hopkins and Pavlik. He'll be an ATG. The thread starter will cling to a low profile Chad Dawson like a piece of dog **** to a pair of new trainers, as a stick to beat Calzaghe with. If he turns out to be another Jeff Lacy, he'll cling to a Prime Roy Jones who would have been impossible to make a fight with at that time with Joe's lacklustre performances and mini fan base, and disillusioned promoter. Or he could use a fat, unprofessional, James Toney, whose path never ever showed any semblance of crossing with Joe's.

All Americans obviously because everyone knows the only good fighters come out of the land of the twinky.

Whatever, shut up SIN your boring.
How can you consider Calzaghe an all time great for beating Hopkins and Pavlik? Hopkins has seen better days and Pavlik is still rather green and unproven at the championship level.

People get considered great by beating other great fighters. Joe has beaten some good opposition and will probably beat some more. As it stands, there are no current fighters out there who you can consider great right now, especially above Welterweight.

So many people consider guys like Mayweather, Calzaghe, Cotto etc ATG's when they really have done jack. They are good champions, that is all. Talent wise boxing is weak right now compared to even the recent past.

Only fanboys would be flinging this ATG **** around.

Joe struggles with no name people he cant get up for. Against the likes of Kessler he doesnt struggle. Get it!!
The Omars of this world JC struggles with are the type of fighters who cause upsets to favoured boxers. They didnt cause an upset to JC though. That is why he is still unbeaten. He always had to do the business on the night. The fact that he struggled shouldnt be such an issue. Had he of lost then you can talk. He won so you no talking. Cheers dude.

Listen, unless Roy Jones comes out and disputes Frank Warren's claims, who knows what really went on? You're asking me why Joe didn't call out Roy, but I have about as much of a clue as anyone. All I know is Warren said this in a TV documentary. His exact words were "Jones priced himself out of every fight". This is in an ITV documentary called "No Average Joe" which was made just before the Bika fight.

The fact that he has been a Champion of the World for well over a decade and has beaten six World Champions say it all.

Yeah, no way he would go up to HW to fight for a title. Too risky...

Never been a "Joke" Calzaghe fan either, honestly I've never followed much of the British boxers, but I did see the Jeff Lacy and Kessler fight and thought he fought very good. From reading between Joke's opposition to Hopkins I would give the edge to Bernard, I like his chances better.
