Anyone know why Ramirez pulled out? Did he get scared or does he have a legit reason?

Anywho, it should be a good fight. Jimenez has a pretty good chin and has been in there with some good punchers so it should be a good test for Yuri. I can't wait to watch the fight. Oh, and Jimenez is Dominican, I don't know if he lives in PR now, but he's not from PR, he's from the Dominican Republic.

This is an excellent fight for Gamboa. If he is able to beat Jiminez, who I believe is the toughest fight he could've taken at this stage of his career, I will be high on top of Gamboa's bandwagon. This guy is truly fearless, Gamboa is. Jiminez destroyed Mike Anchondo the last time he fought, so he's shown that he can beat the top guys.

That's because most people haven't seen Jiminez yet.

Jiminez is NO slouch and he is a tough customer. This is a darn good test for Gamboa.

IMO, this is the measuring stick for Gamboa's future success. This time it's not only an issue of how he beats him, but whether he can.

Jimenez looked good in his last outing so this will definitely be a test for Gamboa in only his 10th bout, when you think about it awesome because not very many guys would go after a guy like Jimenez this early in their careers. That card for HBO looks pretty good. With Gamboa, Angulo, and Kirkland hopefully all being shown on TV. Plus all three are facing decent opponents.
