      I don't know if there was anyone in boxing PERIOD that had as tough a run as Taylor at that time.

        I agree. In fact you have to go back a long way to find something comparable.

        You could compare some stretches of Holyfield's career. A young SRL, a middle-aged Duran, etc. But it's not often someone fights that kind of competition. I think Taylor could take four easy ones before anyone should even mention it.

          Tough choice between Taylor and Cotto.

          Three of Cotto's opponents are current world titleholders: Torres, Malignaggi and Quintana. Shane Mosley is a great fighter, and Judah is always a dangerous opponent.

          Taylor's had several world class opponents: the current middleweight champion Pavlik, as well as Wright and Hopkins.

                I don't like him, but Manny Pacquiao, regardless of rematches, has consistently fought great fighters since 2004. I'd have to put him up there.
