yes i have seen joe fight. his a superb fighter. he made kessler look like a worthles fighter when ever1 knows that kessler is an elite fighter.
the question is have you seen roy fight? a prime roy fight?? he was untouchable man. he literally toyed with toney and hopkins. *** all the excuses you can about the reason y hopkins and toney loss. he toyed with em. in his PRIME he was unstoppable and untouchable at 168 and 175.

I am a BIG fan of both but Calzaghe HIMSELF said he wanted nothing to do with Roy in his prime. He was just too good.

hard to say...they both have unique styles that you dont see often.
I mean the closest guy you could compare to Calzaghe on Jones's record...maybe Harding? or Virgil Hill? or Montell Griffin?
and on Calzaghe's record..pff i dunno...Reid? Kessler?
Honestly, Id have to sway torward Jones
...and James Toney>Calzaghe

My position is simply that Calzaghe is a better fighter than either Hopkins or Toney, and in particular comes much nearer (without actually getting there) to matching Jones at Jones own game than either of those two. You say yourself Joe is a superb fighter.
Jones might beat Calzaghe, but he wouldn't be able to toy with him, but equally Calzaghe might beat Jones. Roy was not invulnerable, and that has since been proved to be true.
Imagine an all out war (thanks to a previous poster) between Calzaghe and Jones. Can you really be so sure of who wins?

I'll grade it an R for ******ed. Why don't you debate like a civilized adult, ****face.
As for the question: I was never one to buy into the myth that Jones was unbeatable at super-middle, infact, i thought he was very beatable and someone like Calzaghe would have as good a chance as any.
