Abraham's US Debut is Miranda Rematch?

Manager Wilfried Sauerland announced over the weekend that "King" Arthur Abraham would be making his American debut on June 21. While no opponent has been named, inside sources indicate that an over-the-weight rematch with Edison Miranda is currently in talks. The fight would take place at an agreed upon weight between middleweight and super middleweight, where Miranda currently fights. [details]

The ONE thing I can say BS is not good at is getting the scoop QUICKLY. We always realize these things days in advance of a BS article about them.

This doesn't seem like the sort of business decision a german fighter would make.. High risk with relatively minimal reward. I would think they were taking a safe fight en route to Pavlik.. If he takes a really tough fight in Miranda, he'll likely want an additional tune up before Pavlik. I'll be shocked if they do this rematch.

Pump is not going to be happy with this post.

              .
This seems too good to be true. But it does make sense. If AA can beat Miranda, a fight with Pavlik would become a huge event. If he loses, he's still going to have his belt and his big German fanbase.

It's Miranda who has more to lose. He needs to win this fight

Just some constructive criticism for the Pop one. AA should beat Miranda. He was doing more than well before he hurt his jaw. When the fight is signed it will be time to make some bets.

Why do you say that? AA doesn't lack confidence and has a healthy loathing for Miranda. Do you remember the photo of AA standing right in front of Miranda, giving him the finger?
