Wilfredo Gomez-Lupe Pintor Round 12 Video

The historians always bring up Bowe-Holyfield Round 10 and Barrera-Morales Round 5, but here is one of the most overlooked great rounds in elite boxing history. Gomez is completely dominant early in the round and is about to stop Pintor, then somehow he manages to come back and by the end of the round has Gomez hurt. Note at the end how Gomez is lifted and carried back to his corner at the end of the round.

One of the greatest fights that I've ever seen. Gomez himself said that it was his most difficult bout.

Not bad, but it isn't my cup of tea. I've seen better.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Chief Rocka again.

A very underrated classic. I felt badly for Hearns and Benitez for having to follow that on the same PPV.

Yeah, it would have needed to be something very special to top that, great fight, Gomez looked the loser at the end of the fight with all the swelling on his face.
