2 totally different eras, almost apples and oranges. Joe Louis opened the door though. I hated that Ali called Joe Louis an Uncle Tom. Ali didn't understand that Louis had to behave a certain way because of the things that Jack Johnson did. Thanks to Joe Louis and the manner in which he carried himself, Muhammed Ali was allowed to run his big mouth freely. -

Ali.
Because he means something for almost any grown, civilized man.
He represent the very meaning of integrity and character.
Not once did he care what people would say or think of him, and he always said and did what he felt was right.
This elevates Ali to something more than boxing.
He should be an inspiration to every living being because of the standards he set for himself and the goals he strived to reach.
He is more than boxing, that man deserves to be a legend, and eventually a myth...
Ali is the greater one.
When it comes to who accomplished most in the squared circle, I will leave that to someone more educated in boxing history.
It would be foolish of me to say anything on that matter based on boxrec and other people's opinions.Comment

People don't understand, Joe Louis, for HIS TIME is probably more famous and more important than any athlete to ever exist.Comment
