The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission Keith Kizer says the trainer of Juan Manuel Marquez, Ignacio Beristain, did nothing illegal when he inserted a “string” into a gaping wound on the right eyelid suffered by Marquez in the ninth roundof his WBC super featherweight title fight against Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao last March 15 in Las Vegas. so where are all the filipinos that were going CRAZY over this ****? you would think that they would just enjoy pac's win but they have to post bull**** after bull**** thread trying to discredit JMM's performance because Pac couldnt really put him away like a "mexican assasin" is supposed to do. since half of the community thinks that JMM won, they feel the need to complain and whine about any little thing.

Polls on here had Pacquiao winning =/

However most sites and writers had Marquez winning. I did too, but could see it for Pacquiao. I found it weird that all judges gave Marquez round 7, but not round 1. What the **** is up with that? I mean I scored round 7 for Marquez, but you'd have a much easier time scoring it for Pacquiao then round 1.

yea that's true. Also what was howard lederman thinking when he gave pac the 12th round? Lately he's been doin' some weird scoring.

You guys have to understand that the only way Marquez was going to win this fight was by knockout or an all out boxing clinic. The judges would have never given Marquez the decision if the fight was close simply because Pacquiao is more popular and younger than Marquez. Its all about the money!
